Because you are writing for a real audience and because what you write may be seen by anyone, anywhere, it is important that you observe the following guidelines to stay safe online and to be an excellent ambassador for the school .

  1.  Use your school e-mail address to post comments (Google Apps)
  2. When using photographs in your post, take care not to identify any pupils, including yourself, by name.
  3. Make sure your writing is of the highest standard you are capable of - and proof-read before publishing.
  4. If you want to use a byline (reporter's name) at the end of your post, use your first name and the initial of your surname.  (EG, ChristineC)
